In Hanoi, the image of bulky motorbikes carrying goods, tied and obscuring license plates is no longer unfamiliar. These are all acts that pose a risk of traffic unsafety.
On the morning of January 22, at the Le Van Luong - Khuat Duy Tien intersection area, a task force of Road Traffic Police Team No. 7 - Traffic Police Department, Hanoi Police, in coordination with the Hanoi Traffic Control Center, discovered and handled acts of carrying bulky goods and covering up license plates.
According to the coordination plan, through the AI camera system, traffic police officers at the Hanoi Traffic Control Center will monitor and detect violations on the route. Then the police use walkie-talkies and notify task force officers who are on duty directly on the road to handle violations.

At about 9 am on the same day, Mr. L.Q.L (cargo delivery worker) was asked to stop the car for inspection when leaving the goods behind to cover the license plate. Presenting to the functional forces, this driver explained that because he was in a hurry to deliver goods, and did not understand the regulations on carrying goods on the car, he violated.
A few minutes later, another similar case was discovered. The driver admitted to knowing that carrying goods like that was wrong, but because of work pressure, because of income calculated according to the form, he "dared to take risks". In fact, the above explanations are not uncommon in the process of handling traffic violations, especially with the freelance labor force like the delivery person.
However, according to the traffic police force, carrying bulky goods not only violates traffic safety regulations but also poses a risk of accidents for drivers themselves and surrounding vehicles, especially at crowded intersections.
All violations when detected will be strictly handled according to regulations. Notably, some cases show signs of intentionally covering up license plates with the thought of being able to avoid being detected through traffic surveillance cameras.
The Commander of Road Traffic Police Team No. 7 said that the coordination between units under Hanoi City Police aims to ensure continuity, not to let violations slip through and avoid fragmented handling. The consistent viewpoint is to handle them in accordance with regulations, without exceptions, and at the same time combine propaganda to help people, especially the free labor force, raise awareness of law compliance.

Making a living is legitimate, but all acts of traffic participation must be placed within the framework of the law. Tightening inspection and handling is not aimed at putting pressure on workers, but to aim at raising people's awareness of law compliance when participating in traffic.
