On June 7, Novotel Nha Trang Hotel in coordination with Khanh Hoa Provincial Oncology Hospital organized the program "Hair Donation Day 2026 - Sharing Love Through Hair Donation", to receive donated hair to support cancer patients being treated.

This is the third consecutive year the program has been organized with the goal of spreading the spirit of compassion, connecting charitable hearts and adding motivation for cancer patients.
According to the organizers, nearly 200 people registered to participate in donating hair at the program. All donated hair will be sent to the Vietnam Breast Cancer Network to make wigs for cancer patients.
Unlike previous years, this year's program attracts the majority of young people to register to donate hair. Instead of chasing trendy hairstyles, young people have spent time nurturing long hair, without using chemicals, to donate to cancer patients who have lost their hair.

Le Thi My Tam (21 years old, student of Khanh Hoa Medical College) shared: "Last year, I knew about the program but registered late, so I decided to nurture it to donate this year. With the given hair, I send a message to it that all women are beautiful".
For many cancer patients, hair loss is one of the most noticeable impacts of the treatment process. Therefore, each donated hair is not only of material significance but also a sharing, companionship and hope for patients.

Ms. Truong Ngoc Thuy Anh - General Manager of Novotel Nha Trang - said that after two years of implementation, the program has received more than 500 donated hairs from the community. Among them, 20 completed hairs have been sent to Khanh Hoa Provincial Oncology Hospital to serve patients being treated locally.
These are not only meaningful numbers but also proof of the community's spirit of sharing. Each given hair carries encouragement, belief and hope for patients in the journey of fighting illness," Ms. Thuy Anh shared.
