An event organization company has decided to stop plans to open a branch in Quang Binh to use the funds to support people in the North.

On September 22, VNT Urban Environment and Event Organization Joint Stock Company (headquartered in Quang Tri province) announced that the unit has decided to postpone the opening ceremony of its new branch in Quang Binh to save funds to support people in the North affected by storms and floods.

Accordingly, the unit has allocated a part of the budget from the branch opening ceremony to support 200 cotton blankets and a 5-ton truck with a team of drivers to transport goods to people in Lao Cai.

In addition, company staff, workers, benefactors and philanthropists also contributed rice, essential food, necessities and clothes to send on trucks to join hands to support our compatriots in the North.

Presently, the gifts and goods have been transported to the North and delivered directly to people in flood-affected areas... with a total amount of about 40 million VND.

Previously, the Company had planned to hold an opening ceremony for a new branch in Quang Binh province on September 28.

All basic preparations were completed, and it was expected that 200 guests and all staff would be invited to attend. However, in the face of the flood situation, the North was suffering heavy damage, the VNT Board of Directors decided to stop the opening ceremony to share with the people of the North.
