People pick up wallets, ask commune police to find the person who dropped them

Lam Dong - Ham Kiem Commune Police support verifying and returning a wallet with cash and many personal papers to people who dropped them.

On March 14, Ham Kiem Commune Police (Lam Dong province) said that they had supported people to return the wallet they found to the person who dropped it in the area.

Previously, while returning from work, Mr. Dang Thanh Chung (resident of Dan Hiep village, Ham Kiem commune) picked up a wallet that fell on the road in Ham Kiem commune.

Checking inside, Mr. Chung discovered many personal papers and 1.5 million VND in cash in his wallet.

Immediately after that, Mr. Chung brought the wallet to Ham Kiem Commune Police to ask for help in finding the person who dropped it to return the property.

Upon receiving the information, Ham Kiem Commune Police proceeded to check the documents in the wallet to verify the owner. Through this, it was determined that the wallet belonged to Mr. Ngo Nguyen Ngoc Thanh. The police force contacted and invited Mr. Thanh to the headquarters to receive the property back.

At the Ham Kiem Commune Police headquarters, Mr. Dang Thanh Chung directly handed over the wallet along with all papers and money to Mr. Ngo Nguyen Ngoc Thanh.

Receiving the lost property back, Mr. Thanh expressed his joy and sent his thanks to Ham Kiem Commune Police for enthusiastically supporting the verification, helping him to get his wallet back soon. Mr. Thanh also thanked Mr. Chung for his honesty and beautiful gesture of proactively returning the found property.
