The man who drove the boat to support Mr. Ben to bring the victim safely to shore was also commended for his timely coordination in the process of rescuing people.
Previously, on the afternoon of November 6, Ms. Dang Thi Hong Lam - Chairman of La Gi Ward People's Committee - also unexpectedly rewarded Mr. Ben for being a local person with a brave spirit.

According to the representative of the two wards, at the moment of life and death, Mr. Ben did not hesitate but immediately jumped into the rushing water to save the woman he was struggling with. This action is considered a demonstration of a spirit of compassion, responsibility and courage that is worthy of respect.
As reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, at around 10:30 p.m. on November 5, in the Tan Ly bridge area (Phuoc Hoi ward), a woman fell into the Dinh River and was caught in the rushing water. At that time, Mr. Nguyen Ben was riding a motorbike across the bridge and discovered the incident.

With the swimming skills of a fisherman at sea, he stopped the car, jumped into the river to approach the victim and took him to an area where the fishing boat was anchored. Afterwards, people on the boat helped bring the two people to shore safely.
Mr. Nguyen Ben's brave action spread strongly on social networks, receiving many thanks from the community. Many people call him a "hero in real life" because he was ready to jump into dangerous rushing water to save strangers at night.
