Earlier, on the same morning, while traveling by motorbike through Hoa Thinh village (Cat Tien 3 commune), Mr. Viet discovered a stack of money carefully tied with a rope lying on the roadside.
Immediately afterwards, he brought the entire amount to Cat Tien 3 Commune Police to hand over and hoped that the authorities would soon find the person who dropped it to return it. The amount of money Mr. Viet picked up was 11.4 million VND.
I think giving back money to the person who dropped it is something everyone should do. As a teacher, I have to be an example for students to follow. Therefore, when I picked up the money, I brought it to the police for verification and returned it to the owner" - Mr. Viet shared.
After many hours of verification, Cat Tien 3 Commune Police identified the person who dropped it as Ms. Tran Thi Mai, residing in Hoa Thinh Village (Cat Tien 3 Commune).
