At that time, a motorbike driver with a cargo handling price (license plate and identity unknown) was traveling on Vinh Tuy bridge, from Long Bien to Vinh Tuy. When arriving at Vinh Tuy ward, this vehicle collided with another motorbike driven by a girl (identity and license plate unknown).
The strong collision caused the girl driving the motorbike to die on the spot. The motorbike driver with a handling rack left the scene immediately. Many witnesses believe that this person jumped into the river, so they reported to the authorities to come and search.
A representative of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team on the River - Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (Hanoi City Police) said that after receiving the report, the unit mobilized dozens of officers and soldiers to coordinate the search. However, by 1:00 p.m. the same day, the victim had not yet been found.
