On November 7, Ninh Binh Provincial Police said that recently, in Hai Quang commune, Ninh Binh province, there has been a situation where many people use birds of prey and loudspeakers to make fake bird sounds to attract wild birds and wild birds to fly. After that, people used nets and traps to catch them.
Faced with the above situation, Hai Quang Commune Police mobilized maximum forces, maintained patrols, controlled, detected, and strictly handled violations.
After more than 15 days of deployment, Hai Quang Commune Police discovered and seized 4,500m of nets, more than 50 sao of bamboo, 12 sets of audio equipment from 12 individuals, fined 1 case for violations, signed a commitment to 11 cases not to repeat the offense.
In addition, the police force has stepped up propaganda of legal regulations on the prohibition of illegal hunting, trading, and use of wild birds to raise awareness of compliance among all classes of people.
