Petrovietnam supports 3 billion VND, 5 tons of rice to help Quang Tri overcome floods

Quang Tri province has just received 3 billion VND, 5 tons of rice and 1,000 boxes of water from Petrovietnam to support people to overcome the damage after floods.

On the afternoon of November 13, Quang Tri province received funding and support goods from the Vietnam National Group of Industry and Energy (Petrovietnam) to help people overcome the damage caused by floods.

At the reception, Petrovietnam representatives presented 3 billion VND, 5 tons of rice and 1,000 boxes of water to provide emergency support to localities severely affected by the recent heavy rain.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Phuong thanked Petrovietnam for their timely and practical support, saying that this is a gesture demonstrating the spirit of mutual love, contributing to helping people soon stabilize their lives and restore production.

Petrovietnam's working group led by Party Secretary and Chairman of the Board of Members Le Manh Hung shared the difficulties with the government and people of Quang Tri, and expressed their hope that the locality would soon overcome the damage caused by natural disasters.

Currently, Quang Tri province is focusing on mobilizing resources to support people in deeply flooded areas, restoring infrastructure, schools and agricultural production after floods.
