Quang Tri - On the way back from the Phu Yen relief trip, the Thai Nguyen volunteer group forgot to pay for breakfast but the restaurant owner also refused to accept it.

On December 4, social networks in Quang Tri spread a story about a relief group from Thai Nguyen who forgot to pay for breakfast at a restaurant near the exit to Bung - Van Ninh Expressway, while on their way back from a trip to support people in the flooded areas of Phu Yen.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Huyen - the group representative, due to being in a hurry on the highway, the group of 5 people left the restaurant without paying. Unable to turn around, Ms. Huyen posted an article asking the Quang Tri online community to help the restaurant owner send her money back.

Thanks to the support of the people, the group quickly identified Khanh Bu restaurant, near the intersection of Ho Chi Minh - Dien Bien Phu road (Dong Hoi ward, Quang Tri province).

However, when contacted, the owner of Dao Huu Khanh restaurant refused to accept the money and asked to be invited for breakfast. Mr. Khanh said that only when he heard the group report, he checked and discovered the incident, but seeing the group from Thai Nguyen traveling to Phu Yen to provide relief to people in flooded areas, so he wanted to contribute a little heart.

It is known that in recent days, Mr. Khanh's restaurant has also welcomed many volunteer groups from Phu Tho, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa; every group that went to provide relief, he invited them to eat for free. The story of Ms. Huyen's group continues to spread the spirit of sharing and affection among volunteer journeys.
