At around 5:00 p.m. on August 25, the Inspection Committee (IC) of the An Giang Provincial Police Party Committee received information from Kien Giang General Hospital that patient N.T.H (born in 1999, residing in Dong Thai commune) was in critical condition and needed urgent blood supply (blood group O) to conduct emergency kidney filtration.
In an urgent case, the leaders of the Provincial Police Department's Inspection Commission launched and mobilized unit officers with appropriate blood types to voluntarily donate blood to save lives.
Immediately after the launch, Major Tran Thien Chi, who had a blood type match with the patient, quickly arrived at Kien Giang General Hospital to register for inspection, testing and directly donate emergency blood.
Major Tran Thien Chi's quick donation of blood to save lives not only helps the patient overcome the critical condition but also shows compassion, spreading the message "Every drop of blood given - A life left behind". This is also an act that demonstrates the spirit of "Serving the people" of the police force.
