Bac Ninh - 2 tourists lost on Tay Yen Tu mountain were successfully searched by the police.

On August 28, information from Bac Ninh Provincial Police said that at around 7:10 p.m. on August 27, 2025, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department received a report from local residents about 2 victims getting lost in the forest in the Tay Yen Tu mountain range.

The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department quickly deployed forces to the scene to coordinate with Tay Yen Tu Commune Police and Tay Yen Tu Service Joint Stock Company to organize the search. The search teams were divided into small areas, checking trails, streams, and with the help of local people, they actively participated.

After about 2 hours, at about 9:08 p.m. the same day, the search force found the 2 victims. The victim was found to be tired, disoriented, and had basically stable health. By 10:15 p.m., the victims were safely taken down the mountain, given first aid, provided necessities, and encouraged to stabilize their spirits.

It is known that the two victims were tourists. On the afternoon of August 27, 2025, after visiting Dong Pagoda in the Tay Yen Tu mountain range, 2 tourists went down the mountain by trail.

However, due to rainy weather, the road was slippery, disoriented, and panicked, so they were stuck.

Bac Ninh Provincial Police recommends that people when entering the forest, they should follow a group, prepare food, drinking water, flashlights, raincoats, and positioning equipment.

Inform the authorities or relatives in advance of the route and travel time. Strictly follow the regulations of the Management Board and the Organizing Committee.

If you are unfortunately lost, stay calm, find a high place, send a distress signal, and limit going further. Call 114 immediately for help.
