Previously, at around 11:20 a.m. on January 1, 2025, O Quy Ho Ward Police, Sa Pa Town received 2 passports picked up by a resident and contacted the police to return them to the owner.

Immediately upon receiving the two passports, O Quy Ho Ward Police coordinated with the Security Team and Sa Pa Town Police to verify that the owners of the two passports were Mr. Rupayan Roy (born in 1999) and Ms. Nidhi Sengupta (born in 2000, both Bangladeshi nationals) who stayed at Phansi - Glamping Sa Pa in Cau May Ward, Sa Pa Town.

However, the two tourists checked out at 9:00 a.m. the same day. Therefore, the O Quy Ho Ward Police coordinated with the Phansi - Glamping Sa Pa accommodation facility to verify, contact and make an appointment for the two tourists to come to the ward and return their passports.

At 2:00 p.m. on January 1, 2025, O Quy Ho Ward Police returned the passports to Mr. Rupayan Roy and Ms. Nidhi Sengupta.

Receiving their passports, the two tourists happily said that when they discovered they had lost their passports, they were very worried because they were preparing to leave Sa Pa to visit and travel to another locality. Without their passports, their journey would be delayed.

Mr. Rupayan Roy and Ms. Nidhi Sengupta send their sincere thanks to the people and police force of O Quy Ho ward and Sa Pa town police.
