Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee called on all people to hand over, recover and denounce violations of the law on weapons, explosives, supporting tools and firecrackers.

In the Calling Letter, leaders of Can Tho City People's Committee said that in the past time, the management of weapons, explosives, supporting tools and firecrackers in the area has achieved many positive results, contributing to maintaining political security, order, and social safety. However, the situation of buying, selling, storing, transporting and illegally using weapons, explosives, supporting tools and firecrackers still contains complex elements, potential risks of causing insecurity and safety for the people.

To proactively prevent and stop illegal acts, ensuring a peaceful life for the people, the Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee called on all people to strictly comply with the provisions of law on the management and use of weapons, explosives, supporting tools and firecrackers; absolutely not to manufacture, produce, buy, sell, transport, store, or use these types illegally. Cases of intentional violations will be strictly handled according to the provisions of law.

Organizations and individuals are mobilized to voluntarily hand over weapons, explosives, and support tools at commune and ward police or reception points as prescribed; improve their sense of responsibility, actively participate in reporting and providing information to functional forces about related law violations, contributing to ensuring safety for themselves, their families and the community.
