    Gia Lai - An accident with a truck carrying goods caused a tragic death of a couple on National Highway 19.

    On January 9, at km 136+350m of National Highway 19 (belonging to Linh Nham village, Mang Yang commune, Gia Lai province), a serious accident occurred between a truck and a motorbike, killing a couple.

    Initial information, Mr. Tran Minh Q. (born in 2002, residing in Son Lang commune, Gia Lai) was driving a truck with license plate: 86C-128.xx traveling from Mang Yang commune to Pleiku ward.

    When the car was traveling to km 136+350m of National Highway 19 (belonging to Linh Nham village, Mang Yang commune, Gia Lai province), it collided with a motorbike with license plate: 81AB-143.xx driven by Mr. T. (born 1982, residing in Ben village, Lo Pang commune) carrying his wife, Ms. N. (born 1979) traveling in the front in the same direction.

    As a result, the accident killed Mr. and Mrs. T. on the spot.

    Initial assessment, driver Tran Minh Q. may have driven the car without paying attention to observation. The two sides have full driver's licenses and no alcohol concentration or prohibited substances.

    Currently, the cause of the accident is being further investigated and clarified by the police agency.
