Mao Dien Temple of Literature (Mau Tai village, Cam Dien commune, Cam Giang district, Hai Duong province) is about 20km west of Hai Duong city and about 50km east of Hanoi city.

The Temple of Literature is a complex of relics including construction items such as the ancient temple, the Temple of Literature gate, the doctoral stele house including 14 doctoral steles with the names of 637 Confucian doctors of Hai Duong town, two ancient stele houses, the bell tower, the drum tower, the Dong Vu house, the Tay Vu house, the worshiping hall, the harem, and the Khai Thanh.

According to Mr. Ha Quang Thanh - Head of Cam Giang District Relic Management, to promote cultural values and traditions of studiousness, the festival at Mao Dien Temple of Literature is held twice a year in Spring and Fall with thousands of visitors participating in offering incense to commemorate the country's famous people and ancestors.
