    In the early days of February, in the atmosphere of the whole country celebrating the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 – February 3, 2026), roads, agencies, and units in Can Tho city were brilliantly decorated with banners, panels, posters, flags, creating a fresh, solemn and enthusiastic appearance.

    On central roads such as: Hoa Binh Avenue, April 30th Street, Quang Trung, Ninh Kieu Wharf area as well as wards and communes, the red color of the national flag and Party flag stands out on the spacious street background.

    Đặc biệt, tại xã Cờ Đỏ – nơi gắn liền với dấu mốc lịch sử quan trọng của phong trào cách mạng Cần Thơ – không khí chào mừng càng thêm ý nghĩa. Tại đây, Chi bộ An Nam Cộng sản Đảng Cờ Đỏ được thành lập ngày 10.11.1929, là chi bộ Đảng đầu tiên của Đảng bộ Cần Thơ, do đồng chí Hà Huy Giáp làm Bí thư. Đây cũng là một trong ba tổ chức tiền thân của Đảng Cộng sản Việt Nam.
    Especially, in Co Do commune - a place associated with an important historical milestone of the Can Tho revolutionary movement - the welcoming atmosphere is even more meaningful. Here, the An Nam Communist Party Cell of the Co Do Party was established on November 10, 1929, the first Party cell of the Can Tho Party Committee, led by Comrade Ha Huy Giap as Secretary. This is also one of the three predecessors of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

    On the occasion of the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Party, the Co Do commune area and places associated with revolutionary traditions are decorated with solemn flags and flowers, expressing gratitude to generations of revolutionary predecessors, and at the same time educating patriotism and pride for cadres, party members and people.
