    From January 1, 2025, Thuy Nguyen district (Hai Phong city) officially became Thuy Nguyen city according to Resolution No. 1232/NQ-UBTVQH15 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of district and commune-level administrative units of Hai Phong city in the period of 2023-2025.
