The entire project is now nearly 80% complete and is being divided into 6 construction teams to ensure progress. The HC1 tunnel branch and all related items are expected to be completed by the end of this year.

The project consists of two branches including tunnels HC1 and HC2 in each direction of Nguyen Van Linh Street, each tunnel is 456 m long, with three lanes and a speed of 60 km/h; a roundabout and branches are built above. The underpass was originally scheduled to be completed in June 2022, but was postponed to early 2024.
