    Sang 27.10, tai chua Tra Tim o phuong 10, TP Soc Trang (tinh Soc Trang) 6 gia dinh dai thi chu cung phat tu trong vung dang y Kathina, chuc mung cac nha su hoan man mua an cu kiet ha.
    On October 27, at Tra Tim Pagoda in Ward 10, Soc Trang City (Soc Trang Province), 6 families of major donors and Buddhists in the area offered Kathina robes, congratulating the monks on completing the rainy season retreat.
    “Nam nay gia dinh toi cung 5 gia dinh duoc lam thi chu chinh Le Dang y Kathina. Toi cung cac thanh vien trong gia dinh da chuan bi gan 1 nam cho buoi le long trong hom nay“, mot gia dinh thi chu le cho biet.
    “This year, my family and five other families were the main sponsors of the ceremony. We have been preparing for nearly a year for this solemn ceremony,” said one sponsor family.

Ngoai ra, Le con the hien thien tam cua Phat tu doi voi viec ho tri tang doan, vua tao khong khi vui tuoi cho phat tu, cho phum, soc.Cac vi tru tri chua se an dinh ngay cu the roi thong bao cho Phat tu trong phum, soc biet de tien hanh to chuc. Khi nhan thong bao, moi phum soc se co tu 1-3 gia dinh cung nhau to chuc va van dong cac gia dinh khac cung tham gia de khich le tin do Phat tu thuc thi dai hanh bo thi va tri an cong duc Tam Bao (Phat, Phap, Tang), tri an cong duc hang Phat tu ho tri Phat phap.
    The Kathina robe offering ceremony, also known as the Kasaya Offering Ceremony or the Flower Offering Ceremony, is held by the Khmer people from September 15 to October 15 of the lunar calendar every year to pray for peace in the village and the family, and to offer robes and other items for the monks. According to custom, the abbots of the pagoda will set a date and then notify the Buddhists in the village and the commune to organize it.

    Regarding offerings, there are robes, alms bowls for monks to beg for alms, notebooks, pens, household items, and daily necessities to show gratitude and express sharing the difficulties of the monks. Buddhists prepare very solemn offerings, offering them on their heads to show their respect.

Ngay thu nhat, cac gia dinh to chuc cho cac doan phat tu di quyen gop tinh tai gom dang bong bac (dang cung cay bong hoa co kem theo tien) de mua cac vat dung dang den chu tang. Sau do ho thinh chu tang den tung kinh va cau an cho gia chu va cu dan trong phum, soc.
    The ceremony takes place over two days. On the first day, families organize Buddhist groups to collect money, including offering silver flowers (flowers with money attached) to buy items to offer to monks. Then they invite monks to chant sutras and pray for peace for the homeowner and residents in the village.

    Lễ Kathina (còn gọi là lễ dâng y cà sa hay dâng bông) của đồng bào Khmer được tổ chức sau 3 tháng an cư kiết hạ (3 tháng các sư chuyên lo tu học). Lễ hội bắt đầu từ ngày 15.9 - 15.10 âm lịch hằng năm, nhằm cầu cho mưa thuận gió hòa; phum sóc, gia đình bình an và Phật tử thành kính dâng lên áo cà sa, các vật dụng đến chư tăng. Những ngày này, ở các chùa Khmer Sóc Trăng cũng nhộn nhịp sắc màu của lễ hội Kathina.
