HUE - The key project of Hue City is being urgently constructed after a period of delay, aiming to complete before the National Day on September 2.

In that situation, the investor has submitted a document to the Hue City People's Committee requesting an adjustment to the progress, with the new goal of completing the project before the National Day on September 2.Currently, tasks such as renovating technical infrastructure, leveling, and paving stone are being implemented. The lighting system is also being installed, workers and machinery are operating urgently.The representative of the Project Management Board affirmed that they will continue to urge and direct strongly to ensure progress according to the extended time frame.
The Hue City Cultural and Sports Square project has a total investment of nearly 200 billion VND, the construction cost alone has exceeded 156 billion VND. The Hue City People's Committee approved and assigned the Hue Urban Development and Investment Project Management Board as the investor.
This unit coordinated to implement with a consortium of contractors including: Thua Thien Hue Irrigation Construction Joint Stock Company, Thanh An Joint Stock Company and An Bao Construction and Trading Joint Stock Company.
According to the design, the total square area is more than 7 hectares, divided into 3 main functional subdivisions: public works, green areas and road yard system, parking lot with electricity, water, lighting technical infrastructure.
The area of the stadium has also been increased from over 11,900m2 to 19,500m2, with an additional grandstand of 720m2. After completion, it can accommodate about 4,000 people in the stadium and up to 10,000 people at the outdoor campus.
