In November 2024, the Standing Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council issued a document correcting Resolution No. 94 dated December 7, 2023 of the Provincial People's Council.
Accordingly, for component project 3 of the Coastal Road project from Van Luong commune, Van Ninh district to Ninh Hoa town, the total initial investment is more than 195 billion VND. After review, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council corrected the exact figure to 95 billion VND.
The entire Coastal Road Project from Van Luong Commune, Van Ninh District to Ninh Hoa Town (20km long) has a capital of 2,031 billion VND.
This project has 3 components, of which component 1 (Van Phong Economic Zone Management Board is the investor) is a construction project with a total investment of 1,700 billion VND.
Components 2 and 3 include compensation, support, resettlement and site clearance through Van Ninh district and Ninh Hoa town with capital of 230 million VND and 95 billion VND respectively (localities are investors).
Speaking to Lao Dong, Ninh Hoa town leaders explained that the actual project component 3 only cost 95 billion VND, but due to a technical typing error, it increased to 195 billion VND and was corrected by the relevant agency. This error did not affect the implementation of component 3 of the project.
