Kim Dong Publishing House introduces 2 special picture books by Korean author - Suzy Lee called "The Wave" and "The bong".

The work Wave will take readers to the vast beach with the humorous jokes of a girl and cool green waves.

In Shadow, we witnessed an interesting story taking place in a dark room, where the real world and the hypothetical world intertwined, creating an attractive hunting game.

These two works are in the The Three Bounds by author Suzy Lee. The author has taken advantage of the book series physical border between adjacent pages of books to tell stories about how different worlds meet, dissolve into each other, about the borders of imagination and reality, between limits and freedom, between what we see and what makes us vibrate.

On the occasion of the launch of two non-fiction books by famous artist Suzy Lee, Kim Dong Publishing House in collaboration with The Initiative of Children's Book Creative content (ICBC) and VYMI Ensemble organized the talk show "The stories on the other side of the stillness" taking place at 4:00 p.m. on November 16 in Hanoi.

In the talk show, children's book curator Pham Thi Hoai Anh will guide the audience to open each page of the book of the work "The Wave" to feel the vivid changes of emotions in each perspective, each breath and the gaps in the illustrative painting of the book.

By using storytelling skills as the physical structure of the book, author Suzy Lee has created surprising lines on each page of the book, boundaries between reality and imagination, between limits and freedom, between what we see and what makes us move.

The story of music will be led by curator Phan Do Phuc to continue the dialogue on the pages of books. The variations performed by artists from the Vietnam Youth Symphony Orchestra (VYMI) to explore how a simple musical idea can expand into imagination, dialogue and game.

Author Suzy Lee is a master of wordless picture book creations by using simple but extremely vivid carbon lead paintings, rich in energy and strong contrasting colors.

We believe that, with the maturity of taste and the spirit of exploring new and profound styles of readers, especially of domestic painters and authors of picture books, this book series will help receive more and more attention.
