On May 22, speaking with Lao Dong reporter, the National Political Publishing House Truth said that this agency has just published "Exploring Vietnamese History" - a book that suggests a new way in approaching national history.
In the historical flow of thousands of years of building and defending the country of the Vietnamese people, there are many events and characters that are still unknown, leaving unanswered questions. It is a space that is both challenging and attractive for those who are passionate about researching and learning about history.
Grasping that, author Nguyen Thanh Tuyen has published the book "Exploring Vietnamese History", as a "key" for readers to open the door to enter the journey of explaining, recreating and feeling national history in a new and approachable way.
The book is a collection of more than 30 articles refined from the author's research and journalism experience for many years, most have been published on media channels ... The special feature of the book lies in the way the author chooses historical storytelling in the masses, not heavy academic, not dry but still ensuring the reliability of events and historical figures.
Through the book, readers will be able to discover little-known stories and explain some issues in the history of Vietnam in the ancient and media that still have united opinions.
The book is divided into four parts:
Part I: Imprints of famous people: List of special impressions and features in the lives and careers of some famous people in Vietnam.
Part II: In the back of the palace: Introduce some dark stories of the past dynasties.
Part III: Two Decisions: Explaining and exploring some historical mysteries, hidden historical corners or somewhat strange historical realities from a historical perspective to contribute to bringing a thorough and easy-to-understand view of some issues, characters and events in Vietnamese history.
Part IV: Multi-talented Ancestor: Introduces some interesting or rarely mentioned stories in history. The stories all contain necessary information to learn about some aspects of the country's history, or contain useful messages or lessons that the ancients want to convey to future generations.
Author Nguyen Thanh Tuyen expressed his hope that the stories in the book will contribute to stimulating readers to explore to understand more deeply about the history of Vietnam in ancient and media, to love and be proud of the country and people of Vietnam. Exploring Vietnamese history is not only a popular research work, but also a bridge between the past and the present.
