In 2025, Dang Thuy Tram and the Third Diary was released as a supplementary piece, depicting more fully the portrait of the heroic female doctor. In addition to the new war diaries published for the first time - called the "third diary" - the book also has many letters and articles recording her youth in the arms of her family and friends in the peaceful Hanoi, before deciding to join the front line.
