On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the complete liberation of the South and the reunification of the country (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), 135 years of President Ho Chi Minh's birth (19.5.1890 - 19.5.2025) and 80 years of the Southern Resistance Day (September 23, 1945 - September 23, 2025), the National Political Publishing House published the book "Southern Vietnam" of the country.
The book is not only a heroic historical account but also a heroic song of the indomitable, loyal and affectionate spirit of the people here.
The book includes articles, speeches, telegrams, letters, congratulations, visits, encouragement and motivation from President Ho Chi Minh to cadres, soldiers and people in the South from 1945 to 1969.
Through each letter and telegram, Uncle Ho always closely follows each step of the Southern revolution, kindly visiting, encouraging, and motivating cadres, soldiers and people. Although the South is far away, Uncle Ho's heart is always with the Southern people.
Every day, every hour, every big and small task, President Ho Chi Minh always looks towards the South and pays special attention to the cadres, soldiers and people of the South, as well as the cadres and soldiers of the South who gather and students from the South living and studying in the North.
Along with that, the book clearly depicts the image of the "congress" not only through typical historical events, but also through the portraits of simple but great people - mothers, brothers, soldiers who have transformed into the country.

On April 30, 1975, the Ho Chi Minh campaign won all, completely liberating the South, opening a new era - the era of a unified country, the river-river border, ending more than two decades of painful isolation.
