Good habit education

On the afternoon of November 17, during the training session " Optimizing performance and recovery through sports nutrition", Doctor of Medicine Julian Alvarez Garcia shared: "Working with young athletes, the most important task is to focus on educating awareness, building good habits, not aiming for achievements".

Why? Because when they have a good foundation in awareness, habits, and thinking, moving forward to compete in a professional environment will not make them "overwhelmed", so that they can seek success in their career journey. Looking at Vietnamese football, almost everyone sees the opposite. To make results - not from consequences - short-term achievements, some factors are developed thanks to personal talent, while careers are mostly bland and short.

Although Dr. Julian only talks about nutrition, it can be completely expanded and applied to all aspects of educating younger generations. Looking at life outside, we can see how necessary and urgent it is to build good habits. There have been and are too many sad images, heartbreaking endings, for us to return to ask the question: What is the foundation of the current young generation? What good habits have we - our own adults - created for our children?

Children's platforms are now "social networking platforms", where offense and negativity are uncontrollable. Habits with many people are formed by complacency, cover-up... pursuing glory is not wrong, but it is also two-sided. And if glory is not accompanied by good habits, pride, and pride, it will become a "dark side" from thinking to action.

A good habit sown in the right place can change the trajectory of a person's life. But over the years, achievements (mostly from adults) have pushed basic education behind...
