All the roads around the rehearsal area were packed with people, everyone went early in the morning to find a good location to watch the rehearsal parade.
Not only parading, but many other cultural and artistic programs were performed during the 50th anniversary of the National Reunification Day. Those art programs tell a historical period, with heroic and tragic stories over the years, until April 30 " when tears flow".
Young people today coming to Ho Chi Minh City are not only excited about the unique parade, but also an opportunity to review the history of war, to understand more deeply the price of peace, thereby being grateful to the generation of our ancestors who sacrificed to have peace and unity for today. Responding to the press, the respondents all had the same opinion, that is, they are very proud of their country.
Watching the parade with artillery, guns and soldiers jostling in majestic footsteps, the historic days of 50 years ago are revived. And behind those joys, what remains is patriotism, people are closer together, more united to build a prosperous and powerful Vietnam together.
Love for the country is not only about words, but also about actions.
Speaking about the significance of this event, Mr. Nguyen Van Nen - Politburo member, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee - emphasized: "Celebrating the Victory Day to spread pride among all generations and to receive the mission of continuing to develop, bringing the country into a new era".
This is what our ancestors and bone-done donors wanted.
Today's generation lives in peace, taking on the responsibility of building the country, must be dedicated to work, serving the people with all their sense of responsibility and justice.
Young people do not have to be proud of their quick-going joys, but are aware of their mission. That mission is to be creative, innovative, and create valuable products not only domestically but also participate in the global value chain. New wealth is strong, prosperity is powerful.
Vietnam is entering a new era, needing a young generation with intelligence, courage and confidence to integrate with the world, especially a generation that dares to commit, dares to sacrifice its own interests for the country.
