Tomorrow (March 15), people across the country will hold their ballots to participate in voting on the Election Day of National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels for the term 2026 - 2031.

This event always has special significance for the political life of the country. Not only is it an event according to the constitutional process, but it is also a moment that deeply expresses the people's right to mastery, creating the core foundation of the socialist rule-of-law State of Vietnam.

Before the election day, Politburo Member, National Assembly Chairman, Chairman of the National Election Council Tran Thanh Man gave an interview to VNA and affirmed that this is "a major political event of the country, a great festival of the whole people".

Election day is a vivid symbol of democracy. Throughout rural areas and cities, flags and flowers are brilliant, people flock to polling stations. Vietnamese citizens are eligible to vote according to regulations, regardless of age, occupation or circumstances, everyone shares a common civic responsibility: Selecting delegates with qualities, capacity and prestige to represent their will and aspirations.

National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man emphasized a big message: The strength of democracy lies in the proactive and responsible participation of each citizen.
The meaning of election day becomes deeper when placed in the context that the country is entering a new stage of development with many intertwined opportunities and challenges.To realize the goal of building a rich, strong, democratic, fair, and civilized Vietnam as the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress has set out.

Each ballot is not only a choice of deputies, but also a sending of faith in the future of the country.That is faith in the path of development chosen by the Party and the people; faith in the ability of the representatives to work with the people to build and perfect a socialist rule-of-law state.
When millions of voters are heading towards a common event, exercising their citizenship, that is the expression to strongly awaken the spirit of national unity.

With the tradition of patriotism, solidarity and high sense of responsibility of voters nationwide, the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term will surely be a great success. On that big day, each vote of the people will continue to write a new page for the journey of building a State of the people, by the people and for the people.
