In the last days of the year, when the Tet atmosphere is spreading everywhere, at K Hospital, more than 1,000 cancer patients and their families gathered together in the Warm Year-end Meal program, before joyfully returning to their hometown on the free "Loving Bus" journey.
This is the 10th year the program has been organized, becoming an annual activity rich in humanity every Tet holiday, contributing to easing difficulties, adding faith and hope to patients.

Previously, on the 11th day of the twelfth lunar month, K Hospital organized the 0 VND Fair and Tet Flower Street 2026. Continuing the series of activities, on February 12 (ie, the 25th day of the twelfth lunar month), the spring atmosphere continued to be bustling with Year-end Meal and Loving Bus.
More than 1,000 patients sat together in more than 200 warm year-end meals. Traditional dishes such as banh chung, spring rolls, gio... not only bring Tet flavor but also warm people's hearts in the cold winter days and prolonged and tiring treatments. On the faces of many patients, bright smiles have replaced everyday worries.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Binh - Deputy Director of K Hospital - shared: "The Tet Eve Meal Program is a companionship and sharing, ignited by the hearts of the team of doctors, hospital staff and sponsors. We hope patients have more willpower, determination to overcome illness and welcome more springs. The hospital has been, is and will continue to accompany patients.

For patients who are not healthy enough to attend, hospital representatives went to each bed to visit and give more than 900 nutritious meals. In particular, the hospital prepared enough meals for patients staying for treatment during Tet, so that even when away from home, they can still feel warmth and care. Each meal is not only a meal but also a source of spiritual encouragement, adding faith on the journey of treatment.
Right after the year-end meal, the joy continued with 30 free "Loving Bus Trips" taking more than 500 patients and their families home for Tet. No longer crowded at the bus station, patients in difficult circumstances returned in peace and thoughtfulness.
The program is organized annually by K Hospital in coordination with the Cancer Patient Support Fund - Bright Tomorrow and companion units. This year's bus routes include: Hanoi - Hai Phong; Hanoi - Hung Yen; Hanoi - Tuyen Quang; Hanoi - Phu Tho; Hanoi - Thai Nguyen; Hanoi - Son La; Hanoi - Lao Cai; Hanoi - Bac Ninh - Lang Son; Hanoi - Ninh Binh; Hanoi - Thanh Hoa; Hanoi - Nghe An; Hanoi - Ha Tinh.
Speaking at the program, Standing Deputy Minister of Health Vu Manh Ha expressed his belief that the "Loving Bus" journey will continue to be extended, adding strength for patients to believe in a brighter tomorrow. At the same time, he sent New Year wishes for health, peace, and a safe journey to patients and their families.
Prof. Dr. Le Van Quang - Director of K Hospital - said that the Year-end Meal and Loving Bus program has closed an old year with warm actions, opening a new year with many hopes. "Sharing helps patients celebrate Tet more fully. We hope to continue to receive trust and support to fulfill our mission of taking care of community health," he said.
In the midst of the last days of the year, when many families are busy preparing to welcome spring, at K Hospital, Tet comes early with warm meals and meaningful trips - where faith is given and hope is ignited.
