On January 29, at K Hospital, the atmosphere of Spring 2026 returned early to hundreds of cancer patients and their families through the "0-dong Fair" and "Tet Flower Street" programs. Sharing booths, meaningful gifts and brilliant spring colors have added faith and willpower to patients in their treatment journey.
From early morning, the K Hospital grounds were filled with laughter. The "0-dong Fair" with 15 carefully arranged booths, including 13 gift-giving booths, 1 calligraphy booth for spring calligraphy and 1 free tea and water booth, attracted a large number of patients, family members and medical staff to participate. Spring welcoming art performances contributed to stirring up a warm and loving atmosphere.
Not only stopping at gifts of material value, the program also brings patients the feeling of being cared for and shared in the days leading up to Tet - a time when homesickness and longing for home become even more intense for patients who are being treated far from home. More than 3,000 gifts have been handed directly to patients.

Sharing at the program, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Binh, Deputy Director of K Hospital, said: Besides the treatment task, K Hospital always wants to bring patients and their families warmer and more complete Tet days. The journey of cancer treatment is a long and challenging journey, so activities like the'0 VND Fair' are not only material but also a great source of spiritual encouragement, helping patients to be optimistic and have more faith to overcome illness.
Along with the Fair, the 2026 Spring Flower Street becomes a special highlight in the hospital grounds. Small landscapes imbued with Vietnamese traditional Tet such as rural markets, thatched roofs, banh chung pots, calligraphers giving letters... are meticulously implemented by K Hospital officials and staff. The brilliant color of flowers and fresh spring space have brought a feeling of warmth and closeness, helping patients temporarily forget the worries of illness.
According to the plan, after this program, K Hospital will continue to organize "Loving Bus Trip" and "New Year's Eve Meal" for patients and their families like in previous years. These humanitarian activities are expected to help patients feel warmer and more confidently welcome a new spring full of hope.
