Therefore, we need to choose a blood glucose meter that fits our lifestyle. Place the meter in a place that is easy to reach and use, find a way to remind yourself to do the tests such as creating a note on the refrigerator, an alarm on the phone or some other device that reminds you to use.

People with high blood sugar should limit sugary foods, such as fruit juice, soda, candy... Foods high in sugar or refined carbohydrates, sugary drinks, will quickly increase blood sugar levels.
Make it a habit to choose less processed carbohydrate sources, such as fresh fruits, vegetables, beans, and whole grains. Also, balance your meals with lean proteins and healthy fats to help maintain stable blood sugar levels.

Stress and mental health can also play a big role in your blood sugar levels. Stress triggers the release of the hormones cortisol and adrenaline, which make it harder for insulin to function properly.
