Ho Chi Minh City - Ho Chi Minh City University Medical Center Hospital has just successfully performed 4 organ transplants, bringing life to end-stage organ failure patients before the New Year.

On February 16 (ie, the 29th of Tet), Ho Chi Minh City University Medical Center Hospital said that the unit had just successfully performed 4 organ transplants simultaneously, including heart transplants, liver transplants and two kidney transplants, bringing life opportunities to end-stage organ failure patients.

Previously, from the 27th of Tet, the Hospital received a patient with severe stroke. Although the intensive care teams made maximum efforts to treat it, the patient's prognosis was very poor and progressed to brain death. After being consulted, the patient's family agreed to donate tissues and body parts in accordance with legal regulations.
