Here are some anti-aging yoga poses, shared by yoga expert Khushboo Shukla.
1.Palm tree pose
- Steps to follow:
Stand up straight, feet together, arms raised high, palms facing each other.
Squeeze your thighs and hold for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
- Benefit:
Helps improve posture, strengthen core and reduce wrinkles.
2. Standing forward bend posture
- Steps to follow:
Stand up straight, then bend forward from the hips. Place your hands on the floor or your shins.
Hold for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
- Benefit:
Helps increase blood flow to the face and stretches the hamstrings.
3. Bridge Pose
- Steps to follow:
Lie on your back, lift your hips toward the ceiling and press your hands into the floor.
Hold for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
- Benefit:
Helps strengthen legs, buttocks and improve blood circulation.
4. Cobra Pose
- Steps to follow:
Lie on your stomach, press your palms into the floor and lift your chest up.
Hold for 15 to 30 seconds.
- Benefit:
Helps strengthen the spine and promote youthful skin.
5. Legs up the wall pose
- Steps to follow:
Lie on your back with your legs up against the wall and your arms relaxed.
Keep for 5 to 15 minutes.
- Benefit:
Helps improve blood circulation as well as reduce eye puffiness.
