The central lobby is designed spaciously, with high ceilings and plenty of natural light. Large columns and curved corridors create a modern and airy space, ready to serve patients when officially operating. The facility has been cleaned up, and staff are cleaning and taking care of green trees daily.
The hospital's pharmacy has officially been licensed to operate, meeting GPP standards. The area for receiving prescriptions, collecting money and delivering medicine is arranged according to a one-way process, ensuring transparency, convenience and safety for patients when receiving medicine.
The Emergency Center at facility 2 of Bach Mai Hospital is built modernly, with more spacious space than facility 1. The reception, classification and emergency treatment area is scientifically arranged, ensuring the ability to receive a large number of patients in emergency situations.
The testing machine system at facility 2 of Bach Mai Hospital is modernly invested, meeting biochemical, hematological, immune... techniques according to end-line standards. The equipment is synchronized and ready to operate, contributing to improving diagnostic capacity and shortening the time to return results to patients.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Tuan Tung - Deputy Director of Bach Mai Hospital - said: "It can be said cautiously but confidently that the most core conditions for facility 2 to operate have been basically completed. We are not only preparing at the "qualified" level, but preparing with the highest spirit of readiness so that when licensed, we can operate immediately, ensuring professional quality.
Regarding human resources, the hospital has developed a plan to deploy 325 beds in the initial phase according to the approved project. To operate this scale, we have 620 experienced staff volunteering to work at facility 2".
According to the Deputy Director of Bach Mai Hospital, these are officials working at facility 1 in Hanoi, who are familiar with the high professional environment and complex techniques. In parallel, the hospital has also recruited nearly 600 new personnel for training, including 119 resident doctors. This force is well-trained, gradually added to the common team, creating a foundation for long-term development.
In terms of expertise and logistics, the entire bidding for chemicals, supplies, drugs and related contents has been completed. When facility 2 is licensed to operate, the transfer and implementation will be carried out immediately according to the signed contract, without leaving gaps in supply.
Regarding equipment, large items, mainly have been invested synchronously and modernly. The facilities are newly built, of good quality, creating favorable conditions for the deployment of high technology. It can be said that, in terms of infrastructure and technology, the hospital is in a ready state".
Facility 2 of Bach Mai Hospital is expected to become a modern medical examination and treatment center, contributing to reducing the burden on Facility 1 in Hanoi and improving access to high-quality medical services for people in the southern area of the Capital and neighboring provinces.
