Rabies is a dangerous disease with an almost absolute mortality rate if not treated promptly, becoming a major concern for many families.

Faced with this situation, the project "Mapping ABI-standard rabies prevention facilities" initiated by AMVGROUP Medical Joint Stock Company was born, marking an important step forward in minimizing risks to people and protecting public health.

As a reputable distributor of vaccines and anti-rabies serum, AMVGROUP wishes to support people to access standard rabies vaccination facilities quickly and conveniently.

The project was developed by close coordination between Marketing, IT, and Logistics departments, using Google Maps platform - a familiar and easy-to-use tool, to bring practical and effective solutions to society.

The “Mapping of ABI Standard Rabies Facilities” project started in April 2024. The process is divided into three main phases:

Research and development

The project team analyzed search methods on Google Maps, identified the requirements and standards needed to update vaccination facility data on the platform.

Testing

The pilot phase successfully put the entire Safpo/Potec vaccination system - a widespread network of vaccination clinics - on the map, evaluating its effectiveness and practical applicability.

Operate

With close coordination between partners, the project has so far updated more than 200 qualified vaccination facilities on the ABI standard rabies prevention map (abbreviation: ABI) as of November 2024. With the target of 1,000 points nationwide, we hope this project will ensure progress.

These vaccination points will always be guaranteed to operate according to professional regulations, always have vaccines and anti-rabies serum available, meeting people's needs at all times.

The project “Mapping ABI Standard Rabies Prevention Facilities” is not only a step forward, but also a deeply humane solution.

It represents a joint effort by many organizations to protect public health, raise awareness and reduce the serious impact of rabies. This is a big step towards a safer and healthier society.
