On July 20, the Tan Uyen Regional Medical Center (Tan Uyen ward, Ho Chi Minh City) said that the unit has signed a professional support agreement with Lanh Binh Thang General Hospital (formerly District 11 Hospital).
This is an important activity in strengthening the connection between medical facilities, promoting the professional strengths of each unit. Thereby, creating a foundation to support the Tan Uyen Regional Medical Center to gradually improve its medical examination and treatment capacity, better meeting the health care needs of the people.
Tan Uyen Regional Health Center said that the two units will cooperate in key areas: supporting strengthening professional exchange, sharing experiences in diagnosing, treating and handling difficult disease cases, contributing to improving the quality of medical examination and treatment at the grassroots level; strengthening training, updating knowledge, exchanging practical experiences and improving professional capacity for medical staff; gradually researching, deploying and developing techniques suitable to the actual needs, professional capacity and conditions of the Health Center.
According to the leader of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health, in addition to the above cooperation, the department has assigned 6 upper-level hospitals to support 6 medical centers in other Binh Duong areas. This is one of the solutions to gradually improve professional capacity, develop appropriate technical services, and reduce dependence on unnecessary transfers in the Binh Duong area. Thereby bringing people and workers the opportunity to access safe, quality and more convenient healthcare services right in the locality.
Previously, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health announced the decision and implemented the merger of the Bac Tan Uyen Regional Medical Center into Binh Duong Provincial General Hospital. Accordingly, after the merger, the Bac Tan Uyen Regional Medical Center became Binh Duong General Hospital facility 2. Thereby, gradually bringing the quality of medical examination and treatment of grade I hospitals to the Bac Tan Uyen and surrounding areas.
