The Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency dismantled a ring of fake milk production and trading in Hanoi and neighboring provinces, including Rance Pharma Company, Hacofood Group Company and a number of related units, 108 Central Military Hospital quickly reviewed and discovered that Hofumil Gold Plus product used in the hospital was provided by one of the above companies.
Although there is no official conclusion from the authorities on whether Hofumil Gold Plus product is fake milk or not, to protect the rights of patients, on April 12, 2025, the Hospital directed specialized units to stop consulting and using Hofumil Gold Plus product, and at the same time revoke it to return it to the supplier.
Proactively contact patients who have been advised to use the product to recommend stopping use, accompany patients to request suppliers to refund the product.
Hofumil Gold Plus milk product used in the Hospital has gone through a widely bidding process in accordance with the provisions of law. Therefore, if the Hofumil Gold Plus milk product is concluded by the State authorities as a fake product, the Hospital and the patient will be the victims of this incident.
