After listening to the report and proposal, Prof. Dr. Tran Van Thuan - Deputy Minister of Health noted the need to continue to encourage medical staff and divide shifts appropriately to ensure health, not to overload during the performance of tasks.
The Deputy Minister of Health assigned the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management as a unit, coordinating with relevant units to continue reviewing practice, inspecting the field and perfecting response plans for all situations, including environmental sanitation and disease prevention.
At the same time, it is required to ensure adequate equipment, medicine, and ambulances; coordinate with Ho Chi Minh City Police in emergency transportation, survey reasonable transportation routes to hospitals as quickly as possible.
Along with that, health units need to fully prepare scenarios for disaster response, handling unusual situations, including weather changes, crowds, fires and explosions, etc. In particular, it is necessary to strengthen communication work, instruct people to prepare when attending crowded events to ensure safety.
