On the afternoon of April 26, the Ceremony to announce, honor and exchange 50 typical works and clusters of construction works of Ho Chi Minh City on the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) took place at the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural House.

50 typical construction works and clusters of Ho Chi Minh City include 8 medical group works, 5 civil - industrial group works, 17 cultural - educational group works, 15 infrastructure - traffic group works; 5 urban - housing group works.
At the ceremony, representative of the medical project group, Mr. Le Van Dung - Deputy Director of the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects of Civil and Industrial Works - shared about the City Children's Hospital project.
The City Children's Hospital with a scale of 1,000 beds is one of the three final pediatric hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City and the southern provinces. The location of this hospital is also very special, placed in the overall planning of the specialized medical cluster in Tan Kien commune, Binh Chanh district.
"This not only contributes to improving the capacity to care for the health of children in the city but also for children in Long An, Tay Ninh provinces and the Mekong Delta region" - Mr. Dung said.
Regarding the Ho Chi Minh City Oncology Hospital project ( Facility 2), Dr. Diep Bao Tuan - Director of Ho Chi Minh City Oncology Hospital - said that this facility currently serves 50,000 patients coming for examination every day.
The hospital has 18 modern operating rooms, especially with positive air pressure system. The inpatient area of 1,000 beds, the rooms have central air conditioning and toilet in the room. The project also has a helicopter airport. In the future, the unit will blend to the emergency room for the eastern area of Ho Chi Minh City.
This modern facility helps patients feel secure and confident when coming to the hospital for examination and treatment. At the same time, it improves the capacity to care for and treat cancer patients.
The project is connected to Metro Line 1, the new Eastern Bus Station is convenient for travel. The hospital also developed new, in-depth techniques such as bone marrow transplantation to better treat cancer. In the coming time, the unit aims for a medical facility specializing in oncology at the level of Southeast Asia
Representing the group of civil and industrial works, Mr. Le Khac Hong - Head of the T3 Passenger Terminal Project Management Board - Tan Son Nhat International Airport - shared: Terminal T3 is one of 80 key projects and works across the country inaugurated on the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
This is one of the first stations in Vietnam to use an automatic baggage classification system. The entire aviation service line is controlled by biometrics. Terminal T3 helps improve the service capacity of Tan Son Nhat airport - the largest gateway in Vietnam today.
