The epidemic prevention team at the Bac Kan City Medical Center has disinfected the entire school campus with Cloramin B solution and mobilized the family to take all students with flu symptoms to the medical facility for examination and treatment.
According to the reporter at the Department of Tropical Diseases, Thai Nguyen Central Hospital, the number of flu patients accounts for more than half of the total number of people being treated. Among them, mainly influenza A. After Tet, the number of hospitalizations increased sharply, including the elderly over 65 years old and people with underlying diseases.

When I checked, I found out I had influenza A. After 5 days of treatment, I feel much better now and will be discharged from the hospital, Nam shared.
Doctor Nguyen Thi Mai Huyen - Deputy Head of the Department of Tropical Diseases (Thai Nguyen Central Hospital) - said that among the patients treated at the department, there was only 1 severe case of myocarditis on the basis of patients with heart failure, chronic lung disease, diabetes.
For healthy people, when suffering from influenza A, it can be mild and go away on its own after 1 week.However, doctors also recommend that people absolutely should not be subjective.Especially for people with underlying diseases, the elderly, pregnant women and young children.
According to the report of the Center for Disease Control of Tuyen Quang province, in January 2025 alone, the locality recorded 736 cases of influenza A.The number of patients tends to increase compared to the same time every year.
