On February 15, the Bac Kan City Medical Center (TTYT) discovered an outbreak of Influenza A at Bac Kan Province Boarding High School for Ethnic Minorities with many students infected.
The first case had symptoms of fever, headache, fatigue, and came to the city's health station for examination and treatment from February 10.
By the afternoon of February 15, a total of 8 students with similar symptoms had come to the city's health center and the provincial General Hospital for treatment. Rapid test results showed that all 8 students tested positive for influenza A. On the same day, 35 more students in the school showed symptoms of fatigue, headache, sneezing, and runny nose.
After detecting the outbreak, the authorities activated the Epidemic Prevention Team at the city's health center. Detoxify the entire school campus with Cloramin B solution. At the same time, coordinate with the school and family to implement measures to ensure safety.
