Accordingly, on August 24, 2026, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health issued Decision No. 4124/QD-SYT, prohibiting Phuc Thien Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company from participating in bidding activities at public health facilities directly under the Department for 5 years.
The decision of the Department of Health applies to drug procurement packages under the procurement estimates of public health facilities directly under the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health. According to the Department of Health, the enterprise violated regulations on bidding at drug procurement packages at Gia Dinh People's Hospital and Children's Hospital 2.
Previously, at Thong Nhat Hospital, this enterprise was handled after the hospital determined that it violated bidding regulations. The hospital terminated the contract, confiscated more than 271 million VND of contract performance guarantee money and banned Phuc Thien Company from participating in bidding at the hospital for 3 years.
After that, Cho Ray Hospital also handled Phuc Thien Company in 2 bidding packages for drug and vaccine supply, terminated the contract, confiscated more than 105 million VND of contract performance guarantee money and banned the enterprise from participating in bidding at the hospital for 3 years.
Some other medical facilities such as Gia Dinh People's Hospital and Binh Duong General Hospital have also issued decisions to handle businesses.
