On the morning of August 7th, in an exchange with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Tran Ngoc Diep - Director of Thoai Son Medical Center (An Giang province) - confirmed that the unit has made a decision to amend and handle contractors who violate the results of contractor selection for the 2026 service vaccine purchase package. This decision applies to handling violations for contractor Phuc Thien Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company.
Accordingly, the initial decision of Thoai Son Medical Center had the content of not recognizing the results of contractor selection online during the contract implementation period for the 2026 service vaccine purchase package for the above contractor. Specifically in the chemicals: seasonal flu vaccine, tetanus-resistant serum, tetanus vaccine.
However, after studying and considering objective factors, Thoai Son Medical Center decided to ban Phuc Thien Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company from participating in bidding activities for all bidding packages under the project and procurement estimates at the Center for 3 years.
The reason is that this contractor violated Clause 4, Article 16 of the Bidding Law No. 22/2023/QH15 dated June 23, 2023, which amended and supplemented a number of articles by Law No. 57/2024/QH15 dated November 29, 2024 and Law No. 90/2025/QH15 dated June 25, 2025 of the National Assembly.
It is known that Thoai Son Medical Center discovered that this contractor had fraudulent acts when including the name of a deceased worker in the list of priority workers according to the Bidding Law in the bid dossier.
As Lao Dong Newspaper has reported, previously, Thong Nhat Hospital and Cho Ray Hospital also decided to handle contractor Phuc Thien Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company for fraud in drug bidding.
