On July 13, according to initial information, patients were hospitalized with typical symptoms of food poisoning including abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and fatigue. These cases had previously had meals at the canteen of Billion Max Vietnam Company (located in Lang Co, Hue city).
Immediately after receiving the patients, the medical team of the Emergency Department and related departments of Da Nang Hospital quickly coordinated to conduct examinations and classify the level of pathology. Patients were prescribed intravenous fluids, electrolyte replacement, and symptomatic treatment according to the treatment protocol of the Ministry of Health.

According to Da Nang Hospital, thanks to timely reception and treatment, up to now, the health of all 21 patients has stabilized, and the symptoms of poisoning have decreased significantly. The hospital's monitoring system has not recorded any cases with severe or critical developments. Patients are currently being monitored and cared for in specialized departments until they are eligible for discharge.
Da Nang Hospital recommends that people be careful in choosing and using food. When signs of suspected poisoning appear such as abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea, fever or exhaustion after eating and drinking, patients need to go to the nearest medical facility immediately for examination, diagnosis and timely treatment, avoiding self-treatment at home leading to dangerous complications for health.
