After the two-level local government system officially operates from July 1, 2025, Health stations in communes and wards of Hung Yen province - including Pho Hien Ward Health Station - will continue to operate stably, without disruption in organization, functions and professional tasks.
According to the direction of the Hung Yen Provincial Department of Health, all basic medical services at the grassroots level are still maintained continuously and fully. Specifically, Pho Hien Ward Health Station continues to perform the following functions: initial medical examination and treatment; expanded immunization; disease prevention and control (including HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, occupational diseases); food safety monitoring; maternal and child health care, population work and school health.
Notably, in the context of changing administrative boundaries and many localities in the process of reorganizing the apparatus, the fact that health stations still keep their operating locations and receive people as before helps create a sense of security and stability for the community. People can go to Pho Hien Ward Health Station for advice, medical examination, treatment or to carry out necessary medical procedures without any obstacles in the process or benefits.
Maintaining good grassroots health care activities is considered an important step to maintain the public health care system, especially in newly reorganized localities according to the two-level administrative model. Thereby, continuing to affirm the role of frontline health care in serving, caring for and protecting public health, especially in the early stages of transforming the management apparatus.
From July 1, along with the completion of the two-level local government model, Hung Yen City Medical Center officially changed its name to Pho Hien Medical Center. The head office address is still on Trung Nhi Street, but updated according to the new administrative boundary is Pho Hien Ward, Hung Yen Province (rather than Le Loi Ward, Hung Yen City as before).
