The People's Committee of Hung Yen province is focusing on removing difficulties, speeding up the implementation of a series of key transport projects in the area, contributing to expanding development space and promoting socio-economic growth.
Many major projects are being directed strongly such as: Ring Road 4 - Hanoi Capital Region; Tan Phuc - Vong Phan Road (DT.378) intersection; Ninh Binh - Hai Phong Expressway (section through Nam Dinh and Thai Binh); the connecting route from Thai Binh city to Hung Ha district, connecting to Hung Yen province; the route connecting cultural heritage, tourism and economic development along the Red River...
The province requires departments, branches and localities to raise their responsibility, proactively handle problems, speed up construction to compensate for the progress of slow-moving projects; at the same time, step up propaganda to create consensus among the people, especially in areas within the scope of site clearance.
The Provincial People's Committee assigns each unit to be specifically in charge of each project group. The Land Fund Development Center No. 1 and No. 2 and the provincial construction investment project management boards coordinate with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, the Department of Agriculture and Environment, districts and communes to review the current situation, organize site clearance, strictly manage the area, not to allow illegal construction or policy profiteering.
The projects expected to start construction in August and September 2025 must complete the selection of qualified investors and prepare fully to start construction on schedule.
At a recent meeting with relevant departments, branches and units, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Khac Than emphasized that key projects play a particularly important role in infrastructure development, expanding development space and creating growth momentum for the whole province. Each agency and unit needs to clearly define responsibilities, focus highly in performing assigned tasks, absolutely do not let delays or delays in the general progress.
The province also assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to review the reserves of river sand mines in the area to organize public auctions, and at the same time study solutions to use suitable alternative materials, ensure the quality of the project and reduce the impact on the environment.
