According to the Food Safety Department (Ministry of Health), the designation of testing facilities is to meet the requirements of food quality management and supervision, and at the same time create favorable conditions for businesses in the production and business process.
Dr. Chu Quoc Thinh, Acting Director of the Food Safety Department, said that currently there are 34 establishments nationwide that meet the conditions to be designated for food safety testing. Businesses can proactively send test samples to units near their operating areas to save time and costs.
In addition, ministries and sectors also directed testing units to strengthen coordination, implement timely testing, and avoid affecting the production and business activities of enterprises.
According to the Ministry of Health, the announcement of the list of designated testing facilities is an important legal basis, contributing to improving the efficiency of food safety management, protecting consumer health and creating a transparent and favorable business environment for businesses.
