Khanh Hoa - The authorities took a medical team with blood to cross the deep flooded area to perform emergency surgery on the mother.

Late on November 19, the forces on duty in Tay Nha Trang ward coordinated to bring the medical team of Khanh Hoa General Hospital and the blood supply to cross the deep flooded area to approach the Dien Khanh Medical Center, performing emergency surgery for a pregnant woman in critical condition.

Previously, the mother was determined to have an eczema and was urgently transported by the authorities from Cam Ranh area to Khanh Hoa General Hospital.

However, heavy rain and floods have caused many traffic routes to be cut off, making it impossible to access provincial hospitals.

In an urgent situation, the mother was forced to transfer to the Dien Khanh Medical Center for timely treatment, and at the same time required the immediate mobilization of a team of highly qualified doctors and necessary equipment.

Present directly in the isolated area, Mr. Tran Phong - Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee - directed the urgent mobilization of canoes, arranged safe vehicles to bring medical staff and blood supply to the flooded area.

Thanks to timely coordination, the medical team reached the emergency point, performed surgery and treated the dangerous condition for the mother.

The health of the pregnant woman is currently being closely monitored at the Dien Khanh Regional Medical Center.
