Limit sour foods
Spring should prioritize foods with moderate sour and sweet taste to be good for the liver. However, eating too much sour food can cause the liver to work excessively, affecting the spleen and reducing digestion.
Avoid overheating foods, high in nutrients
When the weather gradually warms up, if you use many heat-related dishes or tonics, it is easy to cause internal heat. You should eat a light diet, choose neutral foods such as lotus seeds, Job's tears, peanuts, walnuts.
Eat less cold food, raw food
You should not eat a lot of cold foods such as ice cream or raw food in the spring, because it easily disrupts digestion, causing the body to accumulate cold and cause fatigue later.
Increase green vegetables
The liver is associated with green. Therefore, seasonal green vegetables are very good for the liver, helping to circulate blood, reduce stagnation and support liver disease prevention.
Drink enough water
Drinking plenty of water helps blood circulation better, supports liver function and stimulates the secretion of digestive fluids, especially bile, helping the body absorb food effectively.
